Under his alter-ego KAAPO, Bernhard is building visual installations and performing live as a visual artist. His work is largely inspired by the use of natural feedback created by analogue circuits and early 90's methods of video-mixing. The lo-fi method of presentation reminds of installations by Nam June Paik and Bruce Nauman and pays tribute to retro, up-cycling and DIY movements.
He has been collaborating with collectives, such as His Dark Elements, Destructive Creations, SMIB and Lo-Fi Playground, as well as contributing to installations at Schmiede 19 in Hallein, Austria and Lange Nacht der Museen in Ingolstadt, Germany 2018 & 2019.
