Space Lab Transmissions

Space Lab Transmissions is a monthly radio format conceived as an ongoing artistic research platform exploring sound, improvisation, and contemporary musical practices through conversation. Broadcast on 90mil Radio in Berlin, the project brings together international musicians, sound artists, and cultural practitioners in in-depth dialogues that investigate creative processes, artistic vulnerability, and alternative modes of listening. Rather than functioning as a traditional interview format, Space Lab Transmissions operates as a listening-based research practice _ where conversation becomes a method for mapping artistic communities and uncovering hidden connections between different scenes and disciplines. 

The show has featured guests, such as Marie Blobel (organizer of events Jazzexzess), Alfred Vogel (musician, label owner of Boomslang Records & event organizer, Bezau Beats), Uo Ray’m (musician, producer & performer), Alexandra Ivanova (pianist & composer), Philipp Dornbusch (musician and producer), as well as live-broadcasts from Arts Ityoa and Studio Kura in Japan.
